Celebrate Spring and one of the best wildflower seasons ever during the National Parks Service Bloom Week, May 5-11 on San Juan Island.

The week’s festivities include guided walks along Frazer Homestead and American Camp trails; nature hikes and wildflower observation with local students; and presentations of Wildflowers of San Juan Island National Historic Park with Mike Vouri and Jerald Weaver.

Bloom Week culminates with the 2nd Annual Wildflower Festival, Sunday May 11 at the American Camp Parade Ground. Learn where to find our local wildflowers and birds, peer over the shoulders of artists in action, play a nature game with the kids, or relax and enjoy live music with the Pig War Band and others.

All Bloom Week and Festival activities are free. For a complete schedule of events, visit San Juan Island National Historic Parks.
